Welcome to Regina Caeli Hyperbaric Center and The Inn of Regina Caeli - Home to hyperbaric oxygen therapy and environmentally clean housing.
What is mild hyperbaric oxygen therapy?
Mild hyperbaric oxygen therapy (mhbot) is the use of mild pressure to introduce into one’s body tissues a superabundant amount of oxygen.
Why Mild hbot?
By using mhbot the patient receives the benefit of a superabundant oxygen supply while avoiding or minimizing risks associated with higher chamber pressures.
In this way the patient:
Avoids oxygen poisoning
Minimizes the danger of damage to the ears and eyes
What pressures do we use?
Typically, we use up to 1.35 ATA, depending on the circumstances.
How is oxygen delivered to the patient?
We deliver 100% oxygen through a mask or nose cannula.
Who can benefit from mhbot?
The conditions for which mhbot can be used are many. To name a few:
Brain injury, mold exposure, Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, PTSD, TBI, Austism, MS, CP, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, pre and post surgery, athletic performance and injury recovery. Other conditions are addressed in our research section.
What is unique about Regina Caeli Hyperbaric Center?
Comfort - We have the largest mild hyperbaric chamber in the world. It is not your typical tube chamber in which some feel uncomfortable or claustrophobic. You can lounge in a recliner and listen to soothing music during treatment. A unique feature of the chamber is that it has airlocks attached to the chamber so that the occupants can come and go from the chamber, if necessary, without disturbing the chamber pressure or other patients.
Convenience - We have clean, environmentally friendly cottages available on-site for those who need a safe, convenient place to stay during treatment.
